Ms. Rivera's pre-school class showed their support by wearing blue and recognizing April as
"Autism Awareness Month"

Our Girl Scouts also showed their support for autism by wearing blue

April is Autism Awareness Month

On April 2nd, Eastford Road students and staff "lit it" up by wearing blue
to show support toward autism awareness.
Thank you all for participating!

HAVING SOME SPRING TIME FUN!
Ms. Rivera's pre-school class enjoyed a bit of the Spring time weather as they took turns running under the parachute.

On Wednesday, April 2, 2014 Mrs. Jill Congdon, a dental hygenist and a parent assisted Ms. Frabotta's Kindergarten children in completing English Language Arts dental health activities which aligned quite nicely with the Common Core Curriculum for Kindergarten.  This demonstration was in collaboration with a thematic unit on "Community Helpers."

Eastford Road School would like to recognize

“LOCKS OF LOVE”.

“Locks of Love” is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. We meet a unique need for children by using donated hair to create the highest quality hair prosthetics.
