ERS Instructional Focus Statement
All staff and students at Eastford Road School will engage in a coordinated whole-school effort to show growth in pre-reading readiness skills through the implementation of Wilson Fundations, small group instruction and explicit literacy instruction through read-alouds. Kindergarten student success will be measured by DIBELS Next and Standards-based assessments. Pre-Kindergarten student success will be measured by standards-based assessments.

WELCOME TO EASTFORD ROAD SCHOOL

The children in Miss Frabotta and Mrs. Fontaine's Kindergarten class celebrated St. Patrick's Day with their families. áThe children frosted a shamrock cookie, played Lucky Bingo, grew a leprechaun and shared in a game of pin the green egg on the plate after listening to Green Eggs and Ham.

The students at Eastford Road School celebrated Read Across America with the Cat in the Hat on March 2nd which is the birthday ofá Dr. Seuss.



The children in Ms. Frabotta and Mrs. Fontaine's Kindergarten class enjoyed participating in many cross curriculum 100 Day activities.



The children in Ms. Frabotta and Mrs. Fontaine's Kindergarten classroom celebrated Valentine's Day in a big way!á The children made hats, exchanged Valentine cards and created Valentine acts of kindness which are displayed in the Eastford Road School courtyard.á The youngstersá listened to their teacher read Valentine sentiments to them which were created by their parents.á The parents celebrated Valentine's Day with their children in our classroom following the festivities.




Congratulations to Mrs. Tift's kindergarten class!
Mrs. Tift's class earned 10 "Golden Paws" for simultaneously meeting expectations at school.á Students earned a visit from the service dog "Chance".
